Utilization of Marlstone Powder to Increase the Compressive Strength of Concrete

Marl is limestone mixed with clay that formed through the process of sedimentation. In this study, authors used marl in form powder originating from outskirts Komering Martapura river because has a very high silica content 74.5%. The purpose and objective research to find out how much influence addition on compressive strength K300 concrete what best percentage adding concrete. This study 30 cube-shaped test objects 5 conditions 6 kinds variations. From results, normal characteristics 303.591 kg/cm2, for 5% 311.376 10% 320,713 15% 329.065 kg/ cm2, 20% at 333.540 25% it 327.491 kg/cm2. Based been carried out, can be concluded increase maximum characteristic 20%.
